Dr. Chantsalmaa Dalkhaa
POSITION: Reservoir Engineer

Dr. Chantsalmaa Dalkhaa is a Reservoir Engineer on Reservoir Modeling and Simulation team at the EERC, where she develops geologic models of the subsurface and runs dynamic simulations to evaluate CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) performance of oil fields and the long-term fate of CO2 sequestration into saline aquifers and evaluates fluid production and determines estimated ultimate recovery of unconventional reservoirs using oil and gas industry simulation software. She holds Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. degrees in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey. She did her postdoctoral research in both the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and the Geoscience Department at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Dr. Dalkhaa's principal areas of interest and expertise include numerical modeling and fluid analysis of various EOR techniques including solvent and thermal methods and cold heavy oil production with sand, CO2 sequestration and monitoring, and estimation of reserve and ultimate recovery from unconventional shale plays. In addition, she has authored and coauthored several professional publications.
